How Is Tumescent Liposuction Performed?
Before performing any fat reduction, your surgeon will carefully insert a needle or cannula (a hollow medical tube) under the skin, administering a mixed solution of lidocaine, epinephrine, and saline to numb the area and fill the nearby fat cells with water, making them easier to remove.
