It is important to note that neck liposuction is not suited for everyone. Patients with clotting problems and serious illnesses are not advised to have this procedure because of their increased risk for developing complications. We also discourage smokers and expecting mothers from undergoing liposuction.

During your initial consultation with Dr. Tirgari, our friendly staff will make you feel comfortable in our clinic. Our surgeon will then assess your health profile to determine if you are fit to have neck liposuction. He will also explain the amount of fat that can be removed from your neck, as well as the technique that he will be using during the surgery.
We’ll also walk you through everything you might need to know about the procedure, before it begins, answering any and all of your questions while also giving you a clear idea of what you can expect from your recovery process. Neck Liposuction Procedure
On the day of your neck lipo surgery, Dr. Tirgari will help ease your anxiety by giving you a mild sedative. Since he will be using local anesthesia, you are free to talk to him while undergoing the procedure. The local anesthesia will take effect in a few minutes and you won’t be able to feel anything during the surgery.
Dr. Tirgari uses micro-cannulas when performing laser surgery to minimize the size of incisions. These incisions won’t need stitches and can easily heal on their own over time. They will also not leave any marks or scars on your skin, so no one will ever know where you got your beautiful, slim neck and nicely sculpted chin.
Once the incisions are made, Dr. Tirgari will melt the excess fat with a laser tip cannula, which is also used to suction the fat out of the body. He will use unsurpassed precision in order to give you the best results possible. Once your procedure is over, you’ll spend some time in our recovery area before returning home.

Recovery After Neck Liposuction
After your procedure, you will be given a short recovery period after the surgery before you are sent home. It is advisable that you have a companion who can drive you safely after you leave our clinic. Mild pain and swelling should be expected in the treated area, but this will subside in one to two days after SmartLipo.
Before you leave, we will make sure that you are feeling well and have all of the necessary post-treatment instructions. It is very important that you continue impeccable home care after your neck liposuction to ensure your safety, proper wound healing, and excellent surgical results.
You will also be informed about your follow-up schedule so that Dr. Tirgari can monitor your healing. You will most likely be able to return to work within two to three days, depending on the nature of your job, at which point you’ll be able to show off your exciting new look.
