Dr Tirgari was super patient with me as naturally I had a lot of questions he also fit me in to do my lips during my lunch break which was super accommodating! This was my first time getting any modifications done and he made me feel very confident in my decision as well as his abilities. OMG!! This place is My Favorite! Personnel is very polite and helpful, the price is excellent. I'm satisfied with their work. They took a good care of me and fixed my lips from the previous lip fillers I have gotten from different place. They also found time to fit in kybella right after im done with getting lip fillers, instead of booking an appointment for next time. Kybella was quick and less painful as a thought it will be. The office is very clean, all staff wearing masks, and very professional. I had a consultation done for fractional laser but after spending time with the staff, who was very thoughtful and thorough in my skin history review, we decided to go down a different approach to meet my skin concerns. I was very happy with the consultation and ended up calling back to purchase a package later that week. I've done 1 of 3 microneedling sessions so far and my next one is actually coming up next week. My experience was so amazing! I had Lisa Azevedo and she made my face look so beautiful! I had really bad sunken in eyes to where I always looked tired and no matter what I did I could never get rid of them. Lisa was able to fix them completely by using filler to fill in the lines. I've thought about having liposuction on my legs for years and have procrastinated for many reasons. I had met with several surgeons prior to meeting with Dr. Tirgari and I just didn't feel "so sure" but after about 5 minutes of speaking with Dr.Tirgari, I knew exactly who I wanted to do my liposuction. I realized immediately that he is meticulous and pays very close attention to details. Dr. Tirgari took a lot of time to plan the best way to execute my procedure so that I could receive ideal results. Dr. Tirgari never wavered from what he believed was the best method for my body type. He genuinely cares about his patients! After meeting with his staff the morning of surgery, I was so relaxed knowing that I was in experienced hands. In addition to his qualities as a person, his skills as a surgeon are also amazing. My legs have never looked better! I am very impressed with his creativity in regards to where he chose to make the incisions, they are in places most people would never notice. My incisions healed so well that you can't even see them. Now after 12 weeks, I can see the true result of the surgery, I am so pleased! I have no regrets except that it took me this long to get it done. Dr. Tirgari is a true artist!

It was my first visit at Avalon Laser and I could not be happier. Over the years I've gone to several high end spas for Botox and dermal fillers and never received such care. I was in a car accident leaving my face a little uneven. I have been going to Dr. Tigari religiously for Botox for about five years, and I must say, Avalon Laser is the best medical aesthetics practice I've experienced thus far. I've been to plenty in OC, AZ, FL and LA, and they don't compare. I also worked for Allergan, do I can spot an excellent doctor and staff that is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their products. While some HCPs administer too many Botox units to make a profit or too little Botox units due to lack of experience, Dr. Tigari and staff customize it to each patient's needs. I never feel rushed, and the environment is clean, while staff are personable and well-educated. Reasonably priced too!

Love love this location ! Everyone here is welcoming. I have tried their chemical peels, clear and brilliant, and microneedling. I can definitely say I see a big difference in the texture of my skin from when I first started these treatments. I had been seeing a dermatologist for about a year (prior to COVID) due to some facial problems I was having. After spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on medicated soaps, medication and spot treatments and no progress in fixing my facial acne/pore items, I was recommended to Avalon! Laura Welker was the aesthetician I worked with. Never having had any medical spa treatment customized to my needs done, Laura was very welcoming during my consultation, and walked me through the recommend process she beleived would do me justice (took the time to explain, break down the path forward and recommend price friendly alternatives). Velashape (6 sessions)- 125lbs- When I did my consultation with Gabby she told me upfront that my stretchmarks wouldn't be resolve with this treatment. Also, she said that if she work hard and I work hard eating healthy, drinking a lot of water, and exercising I can get the results I want when it comes to contouring my abdomen. I've been working out for the last 4 years, but it is difficult for my stomach to show muscle because of my excess skin from pregnancy. She was upfront and honest with me so I don't expect a lot. I got my 4th session of velashape (May 12,2021). It is now Saturday (May 15) and i still have two more sessions left, but I'm already impressed with the results. I had a couple procedures done with Dr.Tirgari because I had several people suggest him based on how he produces good results and he surpassed my expectations. The staff at Avalon Laser is great. I called to schedule a consultation to learn more about lip filler and laser hair removal. When I arrived for the consultation, the parking was relatively easy to find; there is a public lot you can park in that's close. The building was clean and easy to find. When I walked in to the office, it was clean and inviting. I didn't have to wait long for the consultation to begin. The staff gave plenty of time for questions and were very helpful. When you arrive for a first treatment, they have you talk with a nurse virtually before beginning. Throughout treatment, the staff explains what they're doing and generally hold conversation with you. Having been back for multiple appointments, the service has always been excellent and their treatments are great. I highly recommend Avalon Laser.

I have received laser hair removal treatments from the Avalon's Carlsbad location for the past 5 years. I've done so many body parts (underarms, forearms, full legs, abdomen, lower back, and full brazilian) and they have all had amazing results. I have dark brown hair and medium brown skin (dark brown in certain areas too). I did not realize many people have trouble with results and complications at other LHR companies because Avalon was well trained with my skin type. If you think the services are on the pricier side, I would say they almost always have specials (if not always), but the quality of the service is well worth the piece of mind that my money is well spent. From the front desk to all the nurses I've been treated by, I can't say enough about how much I love this place!

Disclaimer, this review is based off an in person consult and I have not received services. BUT, the only reason I didn't book a service was because I moved out of state shortly after the consult That said, I had a great experience with Avalon Laser. At 31, my skin is starting to show signs of aging and I wanted to see what options I have to look young forever (Botox, fillers, whatever). The staff that did my consult was polite, professional and most importantly, was not pushy. She asked me what brought me in, gave me a thorough explanation of what services would achieve the goals I had in a helpful manner. Places like this can easily be overly salesy and prey on your insecurities, my experience with Avalon was the opposite. I felt good about myself after the appointment and empowered to make my own choices. Definitely recommend

I shopped around almost all liposuction doctors in San Diego, no one was warming and welcoming as Dr. Tirgari and his staff. Everyone from front desk to nurses to the doctor himself was beyond helpful. Before my procedure I was communicating with nurse Lauren and she is beyond amazing. She made sure I got what I want and responded to all my emails even on weekends. Dr. Tirgari knew what I wanted and made sure I got what I wanted. I avoid doctors as much as I can but with Dr. Tirgari I look forward to my appointment. He followed up with me the whole recovering process and made sure I was following all post up protocols. Lisa is the RN who performed the service for me. I had lip augmentation and I asked specifically for more natural look. She went through the process and discussed with me exactly what would be done and when it would be done. She reviewed everything including the 2 week post procedure follow up appointment. The results are quite spectacular as I have the same lips I did about 15 years ago. You may not be able to fight mother nature but you can sure work with what you got and make it look better. And Lisa did that. as for pain little bit of a pinch here and there but no big fat hairy deal. I would highly recommend Avalon laser and Lisa and I look forward to continuing their services.

Avalon Laser is beyond amazing! I went there to get a CO2 fractional laser treatment and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about getting one. The staff was beyond wonderful and made me feel so welcomed. Lauren O. was the one who preformed the treatment on me. Lauren always made sure I was comfortable and was willing to stop the treatment at any point if I ever needed a break. Luckily I did not need to stop because it was quick and the lidocaine cream really helped to make it almost pain free. I barely felt the laser treatment at all. I highly recommend Avalon Laser due to how professional and comfortable they made me feel through the whole treatment process. From the time I walked in till the time I left, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The best part about this treatment is how amazing my skin looks and feels after the CO2 treatment. Sun spots are gone and my skin looks fantastic. It was worth every penny and I would certainly do it again based upon my results!

I've never had laser anything prior to today and my friend told me how she doesn't understand how people still wax or shave. Since I am Asian and have that easy to tan pigmented skin, I did a lot of research because I didn't want any scarring or hyperpigmentation. I called almost every business looking for the YAG laser. Once I figured that out, I asked questions, compared prices and tested their knowledge, whether they memorized or truly understood what they were talking about. I went in for a consultation and Tricia was fabulous. She answered my million questions from hair removal to facials and other treatments. I love that she's not a sales person, didn't deliver the typical lines that the other places repeated over and over (ie. "we have the best laser because.....") she didn't BS me and told me the true pros and cons, including her personal experiences. Today was my first hair removal treatment. I absolutely love this place. From the receptionist to the waiting area, treatment room and staff - I couldn't be happier! I used to be a medic in the Air Force so I easily notice if there are unsanitary practices. 100%. I will be back for more and referring everyone I know haha.

I have been going to Dr. Tigari religiously for Botox for about five years, and I must say, Avalon Laser is the best medical aesthetics practice I've experienced thus far. I've been to plenty in OC, AZ, FL and LA, and they don't compare. I also worked for Allergan, do I can spot an excellent doctor and staff that is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their products. While some HCPs administer too many Botox units to make a profit or too little Botox units due to lack of experience, Dr. Tigari and staff customize it to each patient's needs. I never feel rushed, and the environment is clean, while staff are personable and well-educated. Reasonably priced too!

It was my first visit at Avalon Laser and I could not be happier. Over the years I've gone to several high end spas for Botox and dermal fillers and never received such care. I was in a car accident leaving my face a little uneven. First of all i would like to say that i went to them because they had good reviews and when i went there I felt extremely welcomed and at ease when i was very nervous about undergoing cosmetic surgery. He was very thorough and gave me specific instructions on what to do after my procedure for optimal results. After surgery I didn't follow all instructions given to me so i didn't have as optimal of an outcome as he would have hoped. He wouldn't let a less than optimal outcome stand so he gave me treatment free of charge that further improved my look after the surgery. So once again he made sure to put the patient first and got the best result possible. He will redo the procedure because he wasn't happy with the results and lost money doing so. I suggest you do as you are told because his instructions are vital to your success. If you want to feel comfortable with yourself and know that your doctor has the best intentions to make you better than you could ever want. I highly recommend dr. Just had IPL on arms and legs to get rid of freckles and sun spots. I had gotten an IPL on the face a few months ago and saw noticeable results. I love Avalon! I had the Sciton Levulan Acne TX treatment done and really loved it. It reduced my scarring drastically and I have fewer breakouts. I was lucky enough to have the sweetest nurse named Angela, she walked me through the entire process and answered all of my many questions. She recommended Elta MD line of products that work with my skin type (combo/ cystic acne). I've always been cautious about what products I use bc I break out so easily. I've tried the sunscreen, foaming face wash, AM & PM therapy creams. I must say I'm in love with all of them. I would live at Avalon if I could afford it!

I had a great experience with Avalon Laser! I had purchased one of their Levulan Treatment Lasers, which are pretty pricey treatments but very effective for stubborn acne. I was hoping to get the treatment for neck and face for the price of one treatment but the policy was one or the other (which that goes for most places too, so I understood). I chose to do the neck which is where I had some deep bumps I wanted to get rid of and help with any future ones as well. Since my entire neck didn't need a full treatment, the treatment area wasn't a very large area. When I received the treatment they offered me an entire second treatment for free at my convenience! I was so happy because these lasers are VERY pricey as I mentioned, so for her to recognize that she wanted to make me feel like I got my moneys worth she gave me a complimentary area of my choice with no expiration. Few months later, I received the treatment and was very satisfied with the service and friendly staff! And not to mention it helped the deep bumps on my neck tremendously! Thank you Avalon Laser :)

I visited Avalon a few days ago for a Chemical Peel. After sitting with esthetician Anna for a quick consultation I was in shock to find out so much information. My shock came after finding out that the treatments I received at a previous Med Spa were not fitting for my skin. I broke down and cried. That's another review on its own. I am so grateful to have met Anna who gave me great information and a great Chemical Peel. She guided me thru every step and didn't push products on me. The front desk was very professional and kind. Maria is a lip injector goddess! I'm obsessed with my lips, she did an amazing job! This review is late- but been meaning to let any of you know that if you have super sensitive skin, and are scared to do a chemical peel, I can tell you from personal experience that Laura at Avalon will take care of you! My skin reacts to everything, even some soothing at home masks can cause my skin to break out with rashes. I wanted to do something less invasive with my skin so I decided chemical Peel. Laura was so informative- the tested my skin and saw that it was pretty reactive that day so she gave me some hydrocortisone and facial serum to calm my skin down, and had me reschedule the peel for one week later. She could have just gone through with it, let my skin burn and just make the money (lots of places unfortunately) but she was informed, she saw the condition, and took care of my skin! The peel went great, she customized it to my sensitivity, and I did not burn! Will be going back for future skin needs! Oh and the front desk lady (forgot her name, really pretty dark haired girl) was super sweet and accommodating to my schedule. Thanks!

Found this place on Groupon and was very impressed. Originally bought the two chemical peels but after my first peel they let me switch out my second one for a custom enzyme facial. The only reason I didn't get my second chemical peel was due to the down time after the peel. I was still peeling after 8 days and I was looking for something more hydrating for my second facial. I had Loren and I highly recommend her. Knew everything there was to know about skin products, facials and how our skin works. VERY CLEAN and professional. Staff was very friendly. The place was super easy to find. Free street parking.

I was directed to Avalon by a friend for a full face laser treatment. I visited a location closer to my home (125 miles away) but was not too impressed with that location. I was able to talk with Angela the office manager for my consultation and was very impressed and able to take advantage of a special for my procedure. The office is conveniently located and a breeze for parking, Office very clean and the staff friendly and professional. The laser treatment when exactly as explained and my healing process is much better than I thought. The ladies made sure I had the right products for the after treatment care as this is very important, my redness and light swelling was almost gone after four days. I have been wanting to write this for a while now. I don't have enough good things to say about Avalon, and particularly Laura. I have struggled with my skin and acne for years. I have deep and bright red scarring and have been talked down to at other laser offices and felt incredibly insecure. The entire Avalon staff has treated me so well and Laura has changed my life with the work she has done on my skin. I bought the dermapen package and have seen incredible results. It is quite expensive but I tell everyone I would have paid triple the price for the results that I have seen. They also have great products but aren't pushy about buying them. I have learned it is important to protect your investment and I trusted Laura to provide me with what I needed and she most definitely did. Laura is so kind, down to earth, and dedicated to get your skin where you want it to be. She has given me tips other than just skin care to improve the condition of my skin and is just one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Great staff! I've only had one laser treatment so far, but I can see some results. Can't wait until I complete all treatments. They are a bit on the pricier side but they do have monthly promos and I don't mind the extra cost because of the great service.

I have been to Avalon Laser in Carlsbad twice now and both times I was impressed by how friendly and accommodating the staff was. Lauren is great! I had a great experience at the Avalon Laser in Bankers Hill! The people are friendly, patient, and excellent at giving a thorough explanation to the procedure. The laser hair removal here is effective and doesn't hurt. I had gone to a previous clinic with very little results. I am on my 6th session for hair removal and my hair is almost gone. Lauren is usually my nurse and is extremely thorough and has always made me feel comfortable.

I love Avalon Laser and the master esthetician Laura. She is probably the sweetest person I've ever met. She is extremely thorough in her assessment of your skin. During my consultation we went over how much water I was drinking, what my diet was like, the supplements I should be taking, SPF, the makeup I should use, and the products I should incorporate into my routine. I never felt any pressure to buy any of the products, and as a college student on a budget I really appreciated this. Laura was there to help me address the needs with my new acne breakouts and with clearing my scarring from past breakouts. She is full of information and passionate about helping people feel more comfortable with their natural, bare face. In two sessions she taught me so much how my skin and how to take care of it. She helped me to start thinking about prevention for aging, so I don't have to spend so much money later on fixing the problems, when I can prevent them in the first place. She took all of my concerns into account and I feel like she has really helped me and most importantly improved the texture of my skin and a reduction in breakouts. For my first appointment we did a fire and ice facial with an extraction and for my second we did a salicylic peel. I appreciated that she took into account what was happening with my skin at each appointment (a pretty terrible hormonal breakout for the second appointment) and changed our plan accordingly. The only reason I did not purchase more services at my last appointment was because I will be moving of out the country for a year, but as soon as I am back in San Diego I will be sure to make an appointment with Laura so we can reassess my skin after a year abroad. Dr. Tirgari is excellent. I recently had smart lipo with him and had excellent results. I appreciated his honesty and concern for safety over anything else. I was his only client on the day of the lipo which as well demonstrated his commitment to ensuring he was not rushed and was dedicated to giving me quality results. Thank you Maria!!! Had my 1st IPL treatment last month, and my experience was extremely positive with the nurse Maria, Dr. Tirgari and office staff. I have always been insecure of my freckles and red veins on my face. After one treatment of IPL I saw a huge difference and amazed how my freckles and red veins have lightened up. I can't wait to get the next IPL treatment this month. Went back a few weeks ago for lip filler and I'm in love with the results!! I had a thin upper lip and Maria made my lips look natural and full. From the moment you walk into Avalon Laser there's a sense of friendly-ness and professionalism in the air. I originally came in to have some retouches done on my face. My only requirement was for them to make me glow like JLO and Kristen the Aesthetic nurse specialist made me glow :) I had Dr .Tirgari examines one of my BOTCHED ( in my eyes) surgeries. And he simply recommended to switch up some of my workouts to optimize my results instead of going thru another surgery. But my original surgeon recommended another surgery and wasn't sure if that would help. Dr. Tirgari was RIGHT. So I decided to have I am getting lots of compliments on my skin and all thanks to the Avalon staff.

Came in here with my fiancée when she went to have some work done. This was my first time in an establishment like this, so I'll have an interesting perspective on beautification treatment clinics. First of all, I really appreciate their flexibility and understanding when we came in 15 minutes late for her appointment. I'm sure it helped that we called ahead to notify them that we were stuck in traffic. But knowing that they rearranged their schedule to accommodate us without any penalty was really nice. The customer service here is top notch. Their small and cozy waiting area was comforting. The chairs were soft and they had complimentary water you can serve yourself. I will have to say, I admire their dedication to product placement and self-advertisement. I was expecting some beauty magazines and other miscellaneous reading materials. Instead, they focused on their brochures, informational guides and a few Ranch & Coast magazines. There's also a tv with their informercials :) Although I cannot speak directly for their services; my fiancée is really happy with them and she returns here regularly. She's picky about things like this, so I'm trusting her judgement completely. I recommend!!
